Accessing and Analyzing the Logs of Spam Experts' Incoming Email Filter

You can view the incoming email logs in SpamExperts to see which emails were filtered as spam and which were delivered to the inbox. Here are the general steps to view the incoming email logs in SpamExperts:

      1. Log in to your iShout Hosting account: Go to the iShout Hosting website and log in to your account. Once you're logged in, you should be able to access the account management area.

      2. Locate the services management section: Once you're in the account management area, you'll want to locate the section that deals with managing your service(s). This section is called Services.

      3. Find the option to manage your services: Once you've located the Services section, click Manage. You'll want to find the option to log in to your SpamExperts. This option is called Manage

    1. Scroll down to incoming and click Logs
    2. In the Query Rules panel, set the rule you would like to use to find emails in the logs. In this example, we are using the default Timestamp of 1 week. On the right-hand side click Show Results.
    3. The spam filter will return the list of all emails from the last week.
      1. In the Main class column, emails are marked as not-spam, spam, phishing, and un-sure. un-sure emails are sent to the junk folder.
      2. In the Status column, emails are shown as to whether they're delivered to the inbox or quarantined.
    4. Click the drop-down button to view the actions that can be made to email or tick each email to bulk action. Email can be whitelisted or blacklisted.
    5. To set a rule, in the local-part field is the first part of the email address before the @ that the email is going to ie info@example. The Address field is the person that is sending the email.
